Fogg Flies To Another Win

December 1, 2019

With the pace shown by the Angus Fogg Racing Mustang it would not be out of place to call the driver “Captain” from now on.

Angus Fogg piloted his four-wheeled jet plane to a conclusive victory at Pukekohe, his only blemish across the entire weekend being a slightly bogged down start on Race 4.

His closest rival for the final race was Dean Hansen Racing and he was lucky to finish the race after taking the grass path over the hill on the second-to-last lap.

Having survived that scare he had to settle with 3rd spot barely ahead of Greg Honnor, and it was John Midgley who took the spoils of 2nd.

In Group 2 things were a lot calmer, Shane Holland in the Flatout Racing Camaro leading the way with Steve Noyer in the Moselle Racing Team Mustang close in behind, Bruce Kett having to settle for 3rd.

Bruce Anderson running in the XE Falcon had a great battle with Clarke Hopkins in the HRT Racing Team Torana finally getting past with a lap remaining but having to settle behind Greg Honnor and Steve Ross who were 4th and 5th.
